This is the definitive guidebook covering the bouldering at Varazze and Triora in Ligure. Varazze is the largest area, which is situated between Genova and Savona (close to Finale Ligure), with all the problems on metamorphic rock (similar type to the Alps). The best time to boulder at Varazze is between September and May. Triora is further west between San Remo and Imperia, with all the problems on limestone rock in a beautiful valley. It is possible to boulder at Triora throughout the year, but the ideal time is between April and September.

At the start of each crag there is a location map, access information and a general description of the type and aspect of bouldering to be found. For each sector there are GPS co-ordinates for the parking, plus information regarding altitude, and the grade range. There are detailed boulder maps, with all the problems shown on colour photo topos. The guidebook details over 1,200 individual problems across a wide range of grades, with many problems in the Font 6a to 7b range.

Published in July 2013 this guidebook is in Italian and English text throughout, and includes many stunning photographs by Christian Core, who is known as a leading climbing photographer and film producer.
