行ってみたいと思ったらまずガイド本。ついに登場のエリア本。オーストラリアのグランピアンズは大ちゃんのV16が有名。第2版になり掲載課題数は2倍に。広大な大地と大自然は価値の高い岩質を提供してくれます。高グレードばかりが目立ちますが、基本的には楽しい家族エリアもあり、ワールドクラスから休日バカンスまで受け入れてくれます。一度、オーストラリアに行ってみたい方には最高。2016年に発売されたものの一時期売り切れてなかなか発売されなかった事も。今のうちにお手元に。

このガイドブックには、これまでに一度も文書化されていない多くの問題を含む1,330以上のボルダー問題が記載されており、V0からV12までの課題があります。すべての課題は説明と一緒にカラー写真により分かりやくラインを紹介しています。

ガイドブックは6つの地域に分けられ、29の異なる岩をカバー。各エリアの始まりには、発見された歴史や側面、アクセス情報、アプローチマップが詳しく掲載されています。そしてグラフには各成績におけるV0からV12までのルートの数が表示されています。

2016年9月に発行されたこの第2版は、第1版のほぼ倍の課題となっています。

This is a definitive guidebook describing the bouldering in the Grampians, which is Australia’s bouldering mecca. The Grampians National Park is huge, but from the northern tip at Mt Stapylton to the Victorian Range in the south, there is World class bouldering on fantastic sandstone rock.

The guidebook describes over 1,330 boulder problems, including many that have never been documented before, with problems ranging from V0 to V12. All the problems are shown on colour photo topos along with a description.

The guidebook is split into 6 regions and covers 29 different crags. At the start of each crag there is description of the style and aspect of the bouldering to be found, access information and an approach map. A chart shows the number of routes at each grade from V0 to V12.

Published in September 2016, this updated 2nd edition contains nearly double the number of problems from the first edition.
